I think this is simply amazing. It's always awesome to see what they do on the show to help families in need out, but it really hits home when there doing it in your community! The people helping out with this project embody everything Drive & Ambition is about. I will keep everyone updated on the progress of the build which should be completed this weeked.
The Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team, partnership with local builder Trademark Construction and hundreds of area volunteers, is in Virginia Beach and over the next week will build a new home for this family, who live in a modest ranch house at 3020 Gentry Road, located just off South Lynnhaven Road behind Lynnhaven Mall.

Unfortunately their home is not as giving as they are, and its failing construction is jeopardizing their passion for giving back. Faulty electrical wiring, a sagging ceiling, and a floor that is crumbling are a recipe for disaster. With only one working bathroom in a house of seven ladies, the house is overdue for a renovation.
